Located on the first floor of a beautiful house, the apartment exudes an old-world charm that is both cozy and inviting. the interior, although well-aged, adds to the overall atmosphere of the place and transports you back in time. One of the highlights of our stay was the spacious bathtub, perfect for a relaxing soak after a day of exploring the nearby Dover harbour. the kitchen and living room were also well-equipped and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a pleasant stay. Despite the lack of modern updates, we found the traditional decor to be a refreshing change and truly embraced the anglophile vibe of the apartment. The proximity to the Smugglers Inn pub next door was a definite bonus, offering delicious food and a charming garden to enjoy. the free parking nearby made it easy to explore the surrounding area, with the beach just a short drive away. The apartment's facilities, including the well-stocked kitchen and comfortable bedrooms, met our needs and provided a homely feel. In terms of cost and luxury, the British apartment offers good value for money, providing a unique and memorable experience for those looking to immerse themselves in English village life. While some may prefer more modern amenities, we found the traditional charm and cozy atmosphere to be a welcome change from the norm.
